An AI Assistant, Built In-House
Illustrative example of a physical AI agent.
Visitors to our website are now greeted by Noma, our AI assistant, who is live, tested and answering real questions about Fundamentals Firm every day. It is a small addition to look at. What it represents is not small at all.
Noma does three things well. It answers questions about our services, our approach and our team, drawn only from what we have deliberately told it and nothing invented nor nothing assumed. When a question falls outside what it knows, it says so plainly and offers to bring a person into the conversation, rather than guessing. And where a conversation signals real interest, it captures the details and offers a discovery call, so that a visitor's first touchpoint with Fundamentals Firm is useful whether or not anyone on our team is at their desk.
That last point matters more than it might first appear. Founder-led businesses live and die by attention, and attention is the one resource that does not scale. An assistant that is honest about its limits, available at all hours, and quietly effective at moving a genuine enquiry forward gives a growing business back hours it would otherwise spend on first-touch admin.
We built Noma ourselves, from the ground up — the thinking behind her as much as the assistant itself. Before a single line of dialogue was written, we did the work we would insist any client do: define exactly what the assistant should know, exactly what it should never claim, and exactly when it should step aside and hand a conversation to a person. That discipline — alignment before tools — is the same discipline we bring to every engagement. The assistant now running on our own site is proof of method, not a product we are asking anyone to buy off the shelf. It also carries a visible marker of that same discipline: on brand, and never pretending to be anything other than what it is.
This is exactly the kind of capability we build for clients: an AI presence engineered around a business's actual knowledge, its actual boundaries and its actual customers, not a generic bot bolted on top. It is a natural fit for hospitality businesses managing a constant stream of guest questions, for financial services and healthcare providers who need every answer carefully and correctly scoped; and, more broadly, for any founder-led business fielding the same handful of questions from customers, day after day, that a well-built assistant could be answering instead.
If your business has that pattern of real questions, asked often, with clear and correct answers, we would be glad to talk about what a properly scoped assistant could do for you.
